Description
This pencil is the Hi-Uni, Mitsubishi's flagship premium graphite pencil, made from California incense cedar around the finest matured graphite in the catalogue, sitting above the Uni and 9800 in the range.
The Hi-Uni is recommended for fine drawing, sketching, professional illustration and precise technical writing, for anyone who asks the most of a wooden pencil. The hexagonal barrel measures 17.6 cm in length with a 7.2 mm profile across flats (6.93" x 0.28"), in deep burgundy lacquer with a gold cap band. Available in 22 grades from 10H to 10B.
Mitsubishi Pencil is a Japanese company founded in 1887. One of the country's oldest pencil makers, they have produced writing instruments prized for the precision of their graphite and the longevity of their industrial design. The "Uni" brand was first introduced as a line of rollerball pens, and has gradually expanded to all of the company's innovative products.
