ystudio Ocean Sustainable Rollerball Pen

This is the ystudio Ocean Sustainable rollerball, a capped rollerball from the studio's sustainability line, with a barrel moulded from recycled nylon reclaimed from Taiwanese fishing nets and trim in brass and aluminium.

The Ocean rollerball is recommended for daily writing, correspondence, and anyone looking for a piece of writing equipment with a lighter carbon footprint. The material is GRS-certified recycled ocean nylon, the packaging FSC-certified, and the pen takes a Schmidt 888 ceramic rollerball refill (fine). 14,8 cm closed, 13,7 mm in diameter (5.83" / 0.54"), 23 g (0.81 oz).

ystudio is a Taiwanese design studio founded in Taipei in 2012 by designers Yi and Yanko. They specialises in minimalist writing instruments and desk accessories in solid brass and copper, handmade in small batches and designed to develop a distinctive patina with use.
