Description
This pencil is a paper-wrapped grease pencil, also known as a china marker, from Mitsubishi's historic Dermatograph line, developed for industrial and medical marking, an example of Mitsubishi's specific products that make it such a great maker of writing instruments
The 7600 is recommended for writing on non-porous surfaces: glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, photographs, film, skin (hence the name) and even fabric, making it a friend of the tailors and seamstresses. Its oil-based core delivers a bold line from 1 to over 4 mm. The pencil measures 17.6 cm in length with a round 8.5 mm barrel (6.93" x 0.33"). Pulling on the peel-string exposes fresh lead as you go, without the need of sharpener.
Mitsubishi Pencil is a Japanese company founded in 1887. One of the country's oldest pencil makers, they have produced writing instruments prized for the precision of their graphite and the longevity of their industrial design. The "Uni" brand was first introduced as a line of rollerball pens, and has gradually expanded to all of the company's innovative products.
Made in Japan.
