Craig Hill Metrolog

This is the Craighill Metrolog, a telescoping ruler machined from anodised aluminium with CNC-milled gradations, inches to 8" in sixteenths on one side and metric to 20 cm in millimetres on the other.

The Metrolog ruler is recommended for desk work, drafting and any task where a precise but attractive ruler earns its place on a workbench. The telescoping neck slides on dimpled thumb grips with tuned resistance, and a yellow index line marks the moving scale. 28 cm x 3,2 cm x 1 cm fully extended (11.00" x 1.25" x 0.38"), 104 g (3.67 oz).

Craighill is a design studio founded in Brooklyn, New York, in 2015 by Hunter Craighill. The studio develops every object in-house, pairing thoughful, curiosity-driven industrial design with precision manufacturing to turn everyday desk and carry tools into humble sculptural objects.
