ystudio Classic Reflect Ruler

This is the ystudio Classic Reflect ruler, a slim ruler in solid brass with a matte black coating that wears through with use to reveal the warm metal underneath.

The Reflect ruler is recommended for desk work, for the drafting table, and for anyone who prefers a grounded metal ruler to a thin plastic one. The weight keeps it steady on paper and the millimetre scale reads cleanly against the dark coating. 27 g (0.95 oz).

ystudio is a Taiwanese design studio founded in Taipei in 2012 by designers Yi and Yanko. They specialises in minimalist writing instruments and desk accessories in solid brass and copper, handmade in small batches and designed to develop a distinctive patina with use.
