Penco Drafting Ballpoint Pen

This is a slim drafting-style ballpoint by Penco, machined from aluminium with a hexagonal barrel and a crosshatch knurled grip section for controlled, stable writing.

The Drafting Ballpoint is recommended for architectural sketching, precise annotation, and writing against a ruler or set square. It measures 10,2 cm (4.02") long, with a 1,1 cm (0.43") barrel diameter, and weighs 30 g (1.06 oz). The 0.5 mm needle tip holds a long thin line, refillable with Japanese 4C / D1 cartridges.

Founded by two surfer friends in Fukuoka, Japan in 1994, Penco is a stationery line of the Hightide company. This brand was born from a love of vintage American office supplies, and pairs nostalgic analog shapes and bold colors with the quiet precision of Japanese production, from a single ballpoint pen at its start to a full range of desk tools today.
