Description
This pencil is a wood-case colour pencil from Mitsubishi's classic Uni range, with an oil-based core that lays down rich pigment and keeps a fine point when sharpened.
The Uni Colored Pencil is recommended for illustration, school colour work and everyday drawing. The hexagonal barrel measures 17.6 cm in length with a diameter of about 8 mm (6.93" x 0.31"), lacquered to match the colour of the lead.
Mitsubishi Pencil is a Japanese company founded in 1887. One of the country's oldest pencil makers, they have produced writing instruments prized for the precision of their graphite and the longevity of their industrial design. The "Uni" brand was first introduced as a line of rollerball pens, and has gradually expanded to all of the company's innovative products.
