This is the metal-bodied Kurutoga, the exceptional mechanical pencil whose internal ratchet quietly rotates the lead as you write, keeping the point consistently sharp on the page.

The Kurutoga Metal is recommended for everyday writing and extended note-taking where a fine, even line is wanted. The aluminium barrel measures 14.8 cm in length with a 10 mm body diameter (5.83" x 0.39") and a textured grip; a resin damper at the tip absorbs micro-wobble. Takes 0.5 mm lead.

Mitsubishi Pencil is a Japanese company founded in 1887. One of the country's oldest pencil makers, they have produced writing instruments prized for the precision of their graphite and the longevity of their industrial design.
