Description
This pencil is a wood-case colour pencil from the Uni 880 range, Mitsubishi's classic palette of 36 colours, here in white.
The 880 is recommended for highlight colour work, school and illustration on tinted or dark papers where a white lead is especially useful. The hexagonal barrel is lacquered to match the lead.
Mitsubishi Pencil is a Japanese company founded in 1887. One of the country's oldest pencil makers, they have produced writing instruments prized for the precision of their graphite and the longevity of their industrial design. The "Uni" brand was first introduced as a line of rollerball pens, and has gradually expanded to all of the company's innovative products.
