The shirt of the character Claudine in Colette's children's book series of the same name, has inspired the playful design of this envelope.
Not only for the shape of the flap, but also because of the circular cut out that allows to peak inside when sealed, and to pull out the letter when opened.

This is one of the five original envelopes designed by Papier Royal and produced at our ateler in Paris.
